"Left! Left! LEFT!" co-op rally game set to launch on Steam

Picture this: your co-driver is yelling directions at you, the road is covered in mud, and your car seems determined to fall apart.

That is the kind of chaos players can expect from “Left! Left! LEFT!”, an upcoming two-player co-op rally game from Stellux Interactive that puts communication skills to the ultimate test.

Scheduled to arrive on Steam on October 23, 2026, the game takes a different approach to racing. Instead of competing against AI opponents or chasing lap times, players must work together to get a rather unruly hatchback through narrow rally stages without ending up in a ditch. A public playtest is also planned for launch day, giving curious players a chance to try the madness for themselves.

The catch is that each player has a very different job. One takes the driver's seat, controlling the car from a first-person cockpit view with practically no heads-up display or map. The other becomes the navigator, using a tablet with a road map to call out upcoming turns and guide the driver through the course.

Sounds easy enough, right? Not quite. The car has deliberately sloppy handling, while the tablet can be dropped or knocked around as the cabin bounces through corners. Mud can obscure the windshield, and doors can swing open at the worst possible moments. The navigator may know exactly where to go, but getting that information across before the driver misses a turn is another matter entirely.

Developed as an arcade-style experience rather than a serious rally simulator, “Left! Left! LEFT!” focuses on unpredictable physics, frantic communication, and the sort of friendly arguments that can make or break a co-driver relationship. There are no AI rivals to blame when things go wrong, either. If the car ends up facing the wrong direction, chances are someone missed a call or simply was not listening.

The concept should sound familiar to anyone who has experienced real-world rallying, where drivers rely on co-drivers to call pace notes at speed. Here, however, the pressure comes with a healthy dose of comedy. It is less about setting the perfect stage time and more about discovering whether your friendship can survive a shouted “LEFT!” that arrives a little too late.

“Left! Left! LEFT!” is now available to wishlist on Steam ahead of its planned October 23 release. So, if you have a friend who insists they are an excellent driver or claims to be a master navigator, this might be the perfect way to put those claims to the test. Just remember: when everything goes wrong, the person holding the tablet is probably going to blame the person holding the steering wheel.
