United Asia Automotive Group (UAAGI), one of the biggest auto groups in the country, officially concluded its participation at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with a total of 803 vehicle reservations recorded across its multi-brand portfolio.

The group’s performance was driven by strong consumer interest in its latest electrified offerings. Key contributors to the sales volume included the BAIC B40e Trailmaster rEV, the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM, the Chery Tiggo rEV LE, and the Radar RD6 EV pickup.

This milestone reflects the continued expansion of UAAGI’s market presence in the Philippines and the growing transition toward New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) within the local automotive sector.

The BAIC B40e Trailmaster rEV made its official public debut at MIAS 2026 and is a body-on-frame 4x4 SUV that has a combined range of 1,200 km. With a price tag of PHP 2,888,000, the B40e Trailmaster rEV was able to secure a significant number of reservations during the auto show. And despite being electrified, it's equipped with traditional off-road features like front and rear differential locks, along with a crawl function integrated into its electric motors, ensuring enhanced control in challenging terrains.

Next is the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM, which won AutoIndustriya.com's 2025 Electrified Drive – Hybrid category. It's a plug-in hybrid crossover that combines a 1.5L turbocharged engine with an electric motor that's packaged in an SUV-like body. It currently retails for PHP 1,898,000 and recorded the highest number of reservations among all models presented by UAAGI, underscoring strong market acceptance and consumer confidence in the product.

The Chery Tiggo rEV also drew significant attention at MIAS 2026, as the 7-seater PHEV wowed everyone with its standout efficiency and affordable price tag. Based on the Department of Energy's (DOE) latest fuel eco run figures, the Tiggo rEV was able to average 84.28 km/Lge thanks to the Chery Super Hybrid Technology. The Tiggo rEV starts at PHP 1,578,000 and is proving to be one of Chery's most popular models to date.

Last but not least is the Radar EV pickup, which also made its first public debut at this year's MIAS. Radar claims they are poised to redefine the pickup truck segment with its compelling blend of electric power, unibody comfort, and versatile utility. The RD6 boasts strong power, excellent handling, and real-world cost savings for as low as PHP 2.64/km/day, which demonstrates its functionality as a pickup and the comfort of an SUV. Prices begin at PHP 1.358 million.

Beyond sales figures, UAAGI’s growth is anchored by its commitment to long-term customer trust. Aftersales services are a core pillar of the group’s business, transforming initial purchases into lasting relationships. UAAGI’s investment in aftersales infrastructure reinforces its promise of reliability. This focus on service excellence ensures that every customer enjoys the peace of mind that comes with readily available parts and professional maintenance, cementing UAAGI’s reputation as a dependable partner in the Philippine automotive market.

Central to this strategy is the UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence. As the backbone of the group’s service operations, this dedicated hub, located on a two-hectare property in Valenzuela City, ensures that evolving vehicle technologies, including electrified systems, are matched by expert hands. By equipping technicians with specialized training, the Center guarantees that every brand under the UAAGI umbrella is supported by consistent, high-level technical expertise.

UAAGI recognizes that strong aftersales is a key part of ownership. It builds trust, supports customer confidence, and strengthens the overall brand experience. With the growing adoption of electrified vehicles, having the right systems, training, and facilities in place becomes even more important.
