SPIED: Lexus TZ is an upcoming three-row EV
The Lexus TZ could be the high-end twin of the Toyota Highlander and Subaru Getaway EVs

Our spies have been quite busy spotting camouflaged prototypes at the Nurburgring. Aside from the refreshed RX (or NX) being seen by our spy photographers, they were able to spot another Lexus being tested at the infamous Green Hell.
According to our spies, it's called the Lexus TZ, and it looks like it will be the luxurious sibling of the all-new Toyota Highlander and Subaru Getaway electric SUVs. Like the aforementioned EVs, the Lexus TZ will most likely be a three-row electric crossover SUV that will have a 2+2+2 seating layout. That means individual seating for the rear passengers.

We've already seen it on the Highlander and Getaway EVs, which share the same platform. But since the Lexus TZ will be geared as a luxury vehicle, we can expect it to have a more opulent cabin to go along with its luxurious pedigree.
Style-wise, the Lexus TZ will most likely feature the same styling elements as the Highlander and Getaway EVs. However, we won't be surprised if the TZ will have the signature styling of Lexus, like a spindle grille, aggressive LED headlights, and radical-looking LED taillights.

Lexus has already registered trademarks for the TZ 450e and the TZ550e, which suggests the EV will be available with two different outputs. Based on the variant names, perhaps the TZ will utilize the RZ 450e and TZ 550e's EV powertrains. This could mean the TZ 450e could have a combined system output of 313 PS, while the TZ 550e may generate a combined 408 PS.

The Lexus TZ is scheduled to make its official debut later this year and may likely serve as the brand's premier three-row EV.
