We already know Toyota Motor Philippines will sell the GR GT hybrid supercar in the country. This was officially confirmed by the automaker earlier this month, which means the upcoming halo car will serve as the flagship model in the brand's GR lineup.

With a hybrid twin-turbo 4.0L V8 under the hood that Toyota aims to crank out 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque, the GR GT flagship has some very big shoes to fill once it's officially launched.

Now, our spies were able to spot several variants of the GR GT at the Nurburgring, and just like the press photos Toyota released last year, the GR GT will be a stunner not just in looks but in performance as well.

Starting with the regular GR GT, this version of the hybrid supercar appears to look the same as the prototype they revealed last year. However, it has a camouflage livery, which leads us to believe Toyota may pull a surprise once the covers are off during launch day. However, the long vented hood, the sporty front bumper, the massive alloy wheels & equally large brakes, the ducktail spoiler on the tailgate, and quad exhausts are still present.

Also seen being driven at the Nurburgring is the hotter GR GT3. While it looks like it's only legal for the racetrack, the GR GT3 is essentially the high-performance version, complete with a massive wing in the back that appears to be made out of lightweight carbon fiber.

But unlike the GR GT3 prototype they showed last year, the one being tested at the Nurburgring appears to share the same bumpers, taillights, headlights, and vented hood as the regular GR GT. Even the quad exhausts and huge wheels & brakes appear to be shared as well. However, it does come with additional vents on the front fenders and hood, which could have been designed to vent out heat.

With the GR GT3 set to be the performance variant of the GR GT lineup, perhaps we can expect the twin-turbo hybrid V8 to generate more than 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque. We also won't be surprised if it will have suspension modifications and a lighter curb weight with the use of more lightweight components.

Since we're halfway through the year, 2027 can't come soon enough for Toyota to fully reveal the all-new GR GT. We're keeping our fingers crossed we won't have to wait that long for its arrival in the Philippines.
