Kia EV3 to make PH debut this September; PV5 set for October reveal
Kia PH to expand EV lineup with EV3 and PV5 Cargo
Kia Philippines is looking to expand its lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) apart from the EV5 and the EV9. While Kia Philippines Managing Director Jay Lopez already confirmed that the EV3 and PV5 will be launched in the country before the end of 2026, there were no exact dates yet for their Philippine debut.
Well, we need not wonder anymore after Kia Philippines distributor ACMobility announced that the EV3 will officially be revealed this September 2026. It's set to bring bold styling, practical range, and easy-to-use technology.

Meanwhile, the Kia PV5 is set to be introduced in October 2026. The all-electric van is built on a modular and adaptable platform that's tailored for local businesses, fleet management, and commercial transport. The PV5 will be rolled out initially in the cargo van variant.
While official specifications are not yet available, the DOE has already recognized both the EV3 and PV5 for the Philippine market. Starting with the EV3, this particular Kia will apparently be offered in GL and GLS variants. Both versions will get a 58.3 kWh battery pack, an electric motor that puts out 204 PS, and will support both 11 kW AC charging & 350 kW DC fast charging. On a full charge, Kia claims the EV3 can do up to 436 km, based on the WLTP cycle.

Over to the PV5, the all-electric cargo van has been listed by the DOE to come with a 51.5 kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of up to 384 km, based on the NEDC standard. It also has a front electric motor that produces 163 PS with 250 Nm of torque. Payload-wise, Kia says the PV5 Cargo can carry up to 790 kg and has a braked towing capacity of up to 750 kg.
With both the Kia EV3 and PV5 Cargo set to make their Philippine debut, expect more details and teasers from the Korean automaker closer to their respective launches.
