Kia PV5, EV3 coming to PH before end of 2026

Kia PV5, EV3 coming to PH before end of 2026
Kia PH confirms PV5, EV3 electric models
We're already halfway through the year, but Kia will have a busy end to 2026.
Besides confirming the arrival of the Sportage Turbo Hybrid later this year, Kia Philippines will also be bringing two more vehicles into the country: the PV5 and the EV3.
This was officially confirmed by Kia Philippines Managing Director Jay Lopez, who announced it during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). While the executive did not reveal an exact timeline of their arrival, Lopez did mention that both the EV3 and PV5 are slated to arrive before the year ends.

Starting with the EV3, it's a small EV that comes with big car features. It slots below the EV4 and EV5 models but above the much smaller EV2. It measures 4300mm long, 1850mm wide, and 1560mm tall, making it a subcompact crossover SUV. It also features styling cues inspired by the EV9, giving it a stylish and futuristic look.
While PH specifications are not yet available, the EV3 is available with two battery packs. First is an 81.4 kWh nickel-cadmium battery, which gives it a range of up to 600 km on a full charge. However, there's also a variant that has a smaller 58.3 kWh battery, although its range wasn't revealed. A single electric motor powers the EV3, which puts out 203 with 283 Nm of torque.

When it comes to features, the EV3 is available with a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, a 12-inch heads-up display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a floating center console that frees up cabin space below, and can even hold tablets or laptops while the vehicle is stationary.
Up next is the Kia PV5, an all-electric van that's available either as a passenger vehicle or as a cargo hauler. With its simple yet striking design and lack of an internal combustion engine, the PV5 fully takes advantage of using its platform to move cargo or passengers with ease.

The PV5 is available with a standard (4695mm) or long body (4890mm), as well as a regular (1905mm) or tall (2200mm) height. All variants also come with a 1895mm width and a 2995mm wheelbase. Driving the PV5 is a single electric motor that puts out 163 PS with 250 Nm of torque and is available with two battery options: 71.2 kWh (passenger van only) and a smaller 51.5 kWh (passenger & cargo van).
The Long Range 71.2 kWh battery version is rated to give the PV5 more than 400 km, while the Standard 51.5 kWh battery pack can give the PV5 up to nearly 300 km of range, both based on the WLTP cycle.
With both the PV5 and EV3 confirmed for the Philippine market, we certainly hope Kia brings them in early Q3 or sometime in Q4.
