If there's one thing pickup truck owners love to do with their vehicles besides taking it off-road or hauling equipment with ease, it's to dress them up. Whether it be making it look good on-road or off-road, pickup trucks are the new blank canvases when it comes to tuners and outfitters.

With the all-new Toyota Hilux set to make its Philippine debut tomorrow at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), we're curious as to what the pickup truck would look like with modifications. Well, we need not wonder anymore as Toyota themselves have revealed modded versions of the latest Hilux in Japan.

Let's start with the Hilux that can be equipped with GR Parts. It sees the Hilux getting fitted with GR mudflaps, GR black alloy wheels, dual stainless steel exhausts, door visors, and a GR honeycomb-style grille.

Beyond aesthetic upgrades, the Hilux equipped with GR Parts can also come with Performance Dampers. Not to be confused with shock absorbers, Toyota claims the GR Performance Dampers will reduce vibrations and deliver steadier handling. Combined with door stabilizers, the automaker says all of these will translate to better steering response, thanks to the added rigidity.

Next is the Modellista kit, which gives the Hilux a more urban look fit for the streets, while still having off-road capability. It gets front & rear underbody protection, along with a hard tonneau cover for the bed. Visually, the Modellista Hilux gets a new front bumper with integrated daytime running lights, a black trim on the hood and corners of the LED headlights, a tailgate garnish, and custom 18-inch alloy wheels.

There's no word yet if Toyota Motor Philippines plans to offer the GR Parts or Modellista upgrades to customers. However, these should serve as inspiration to customers who wish to dress up or upgrade the looks of their pickup trucks.
