After its recent debut at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show, Nissan has started making steps in rolling out the all-new Kicks e-Power units from the production line.

Nissan Thailand has started production of the all-new Kicks e-Power with an aim to deliver units as early as May 2026. The production plant where the electrified crossover is being made is Nissan’s export hub for the ASEAN region, sharing the same production line with the Almera, Navara and the Terra.

The all-new Kicks e-Power features a bolder exterior design, and remains equipped with Nissan’s 1.2-liter e-Power series hybrid powertrain. The new generation model also features a revised interior design, along with the introduction of the ProPilot advanced driver assist system.

“Nissan has operated in Thailand for more than 73 years, continuously strengthening our products and manufacturing capabilities to meet evolving customer needs. Today, we mark an important milestone as we begin production of the all-new Nissan Kicks e‑Power, showcasing the capabilities of our local talent in delivering products with Japanese quality”, said Shohei Yamazaki, Chairperson, Management Committee for Japan/ASEAN & Affiliate Companies, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.

As for developments regarding the all-new Kicks e-Power for the Philippine market, the Land Transportation Office has released its homologation documents. Based on those, the all-new Kicks e-Power could be offered in two variants in PH – the VE and the top-of-the-line VL.

What’s rather interesting is that the premium color option is being offered to the VE instead of the higher spec version. If we’re right about this one, the premium color could be the Electric Cyan that was revealed at BIMS 2026.

With these developments, Nissan PH could have the same launch strategy with Thailand – reveal the vehicle in a major motor show (PIMS 2026) and open order books to forecast demand, then retail sales commence shortly after.
