After making its regional debut at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), getting EV recognition from the Department of Energy (DOE), and securing approval from the Land Transportation Office (LTO), it looks like Suzuki’s newest zero-emissions vehicle will make its debut in the Philippines.

One week before this year’s Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), some brands have already started teasing what they will be revealing on June 4, 2026. Joining the bandwagon is Suzuki, which has released a teaser image of its mystery vehicle.

While the automaker has yet to call it by its exact name, it’s quite clear that the Suzuki e Vitara will make its Philippine debut at PIMS 2026. Once revealed, it will take on other similarly-sized EVs, including its own twin, the Toyota Urban Cruiser, which is based on Suzuki’s EV.

The automaker has yet to reveal its exact specifications, but the DOE has already given us plenty of info ahead of the official launch. According to the initial specifications, the e Vitara for the Philippines will be powered by a 61 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that feeds a single electric motor producing 174 PS and 193 Nm of torque. On a full charge, Suzuki says the e Vitara can do up to 426 km and supports both AC & DC charging.

According to a memo from the LTO, the PH-spec Suzuki e Vitara can be recharged from 10% to 100% in 9 hours via a 7 kW AC charging system. On the other hand, a faster 70 kW DC charging station can replenish the e Vitara’s battery from 10% to 80% in only 45 minutes.

Size-wise, the e Vitara will measure 4275mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1635mm tall on a 2700mm wheelbase. Moreover, it will have 180mm of ground clearance and 306 liters worth of luggage space with the rear seats deployed.

Aside from the e Vitara, Suzuki will also showcase its current lineup, which includes the Jimny 3-Door with Suzuki Safety Support, XL7 Hybrid Black Edition, Dzire Hybrid, and Fronx Hybrid.

See Suzuki’s newest vehicle next week from June 4 to 7 at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
