Omoda & Jaecoo is set bring together users, media representatives, and partners from around the world for its 2026 International User Summit in Wuhu, China, scheduled from October 18 to 24.

The event will focus on the automaker’s latest developments in artificial intelligence, intelligent vehicles, and new energy technologies. The company said its parent company spent RMB 6.672 billion (around PHP 52.7 billion) on research and development during the first half of 2026, representing a 28.3% increase year-on-year. Investments are focused on electrification platforms, advanced driver assistance systems, and intelligent cockpit technologies.

Omoda & Jaecoo will showcase its collaboration with Qualcomm, particularly in integrating cockpit and driving technologies. At the summit, its Super Intelligent Experience Lab will demonstrate the SIVP (Super Intelligent Valet Parking) and SIAS (Super Intelligent AI Space) systems, which are designed to combine vehicle automation with more intuitive interaction with occupants.

New energy technology will also take center stage, with the Omoda 4 SHS-H, Omoda 5 NEXT, and Omoda 7 SHS-H undergoing long-distance testing as part of the event. The Omoda 7 SHS-H will also make its global debut with a new 5-kWh battery system for hybrid applications.

The automaker is also highlighting the range capabilities of its SHS Super Hybrid technology. The Jaecoo 7 SHS-P previously covered 1,333 kilometers on a single tank of fuel and charge during testing in the UK, exceeding its WLTP-rated range by 11.14%. Meanwhile, the Jaecoo 8 SHS-P achieved a 1,660-kilometer combined driving range in Indonesia, earning a Guinness World Records title.

Beyond vehicle technology, Omoda & Jaecoo is also pursuing lower-carbon manufacturing. Renewable energy currently accounts for 52.77% of electricity consumption across its parent company’s vehicle manufacturing facilities, which include five national-level green factories and two zero-carbon factories.

The company said its recycled aluminum technology can reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% compared with primary aluminum, while the Jaecoo 7 SHS uses around 75% low-carbon aluminum. Omoda & Jaecoo also has the capacity to process 100,000 tons each of scrap steel and aluminum, as well as 10,000 tons of waste plastics, as it works toward a more sustainable vehicle lifecycle.
