Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines has expanded its presence in Southern Luzon with the opening of two new dealerships in Cavite as the brand gears up for the Philippine launch of the J5 EV this July.

The company inaugurated O&J Kawit on June 23 through dealer partner Evision Auto, followed by the opening of O&J Dasmariñas on June 25 under Central Auto Resources Inc. The two new facilities strengthen the brand's growing retail network and provide customers in Cavite and nearby provinces with access to vehicle sales and aftersales services.

The expansion comes ahead of the local debut of the J5 EV, an all-electric compact crossover that was first shown to the public during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The automaker says the model generated strong interest during its preview and will officially go on sale following a launch event scheduled this July.

The J5 EV will play an important role in the brand’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) lineup in the Philippines. It is positioned as an accessible electric vehicle that combines modern styling, connected technology, and advanced safety features for everyday driving.

Visitors to both dealership inaugurations were also introduced to Aimoga, the company’s AI-powered humanoid robot, and Robodog, its robotic companion. The demonstrations showcased Omoda & Jaecoo’s efforts to integrate artificial intelligence and robotics into its broader mobility ecosystem beyond passenger vehicles.

With the addition of Kawit and Dasmariñas, Omoda & Jaecoo continues to grow its nationwide dealer network as it expands its lineup of SUVs, hybrid models, and electric vehicles in the Philippine market. The company says the expansion is intended to improve customer access to its products and aftersales support while supporting the rollout of future New Energy Vehicle offerings.
