Hyundai Motor CEO: 100 new models by 2030
All-new Santa Fe EREV coming in 2027
Hyundai Motor Company first outlined its product offensive during its 2025 CEO Investor Day, announcing plans to launch or refresh more than 100 models globally by 2030 as it looks to reach 5.55 million annual sales and improve profitability.
A year later, the Korean manufacturer has doubled down on its aggressive product strategy as president and CEO José Muñoz had more details to share.
Hyundai Motor will launch or refresh over 100 vehicles globally by 2030, including 58 launches in North America, 49 in Korea, 41 in Europe, 26 in India and 22 in China. Many of these will be all-new products or entries into new market segments.

Among the key products in Hyundai's pipeline are the all-new Elantra, IONIQ 3, Tucson and Tucson Hybrid, along with the first-ever Santa Fe equipped with an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain. The company will also introduce a new global B-segment SUV, a B-segment SUV for Europe, and a new A-segment electric SUV developed specifically for India.
The next major launches are set to arrive soon. The all-new Tucson and Tucson Hybrid are scheduled to begin launching in initial markets in the fourth quarter of 2026, while the IONIQ 3 has already started sales in Europe, offering up to 497 kilometers of range and is the first European-market model to feature the group's new Pleos Connect infotainment platform.
Perhaps, the most significant addition to the lineup will be the Santa Fe EREV, which is scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2027. Hyundai has been busy testing the SUV based on recent spy shots, and expects the electrified SUV to deliver more than 600 miles, or roughly 965 kilometers, of total driving range by combining electric driving with an onboard range-extender system. Production will take place at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama in the United States.

As previously announced in the 2025 CEO Investor Day, Hyundai is also looking to expand into segments where it currently has limited representation. These include body-on-frame vehicles, a midsize pickup truck, and light commercial vehicles. The company's high-performance N division will likewise receive additional models as Hyundai works toward its target of 100,000 annual N-unit sales by 2030.
The product expansion will be supported by a broader electrification strategy. Hyundai plans to offer more than 10 hybrid models in North America by 2030, while Europe will receive a heavily electrified lineup covering 85 percent of the market. The company is also developing lower-cost EV batteries, improved battery management systems, and new safety technology designed to prevent thermal propagation between battery cells.
Beyond Hyundai, the wider group's product offensive includes the Genesis GV90 flagship SUV, the brand's first GV80 Hybrid, and an EREV SUV with a targeted range of more than 640 miles. Genesis plans to expand to more than 40 markets and reach 350,000 annual sales by 2030.
The 2026 announcement also goes beyond vehicles, with the company targeting software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving, robotaxis and robotics as future growth areas. IONIQ 5 robotaxis developed with Waymo are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter, while Hyundai's autonomous-driving technology is expected to reach Level 2+ capability in a mass-produced SDV by 2028.
With more than 100 launches and refreshes planned across major markets, Hyundai is positioning a wider range of hybrids, EVs, EREVs and conventional vehicles as it seeks to capture new segments while responding to changing consumer demand for electrification.
