Since 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official ride has been the Aurus Senat. And now, the Russian-made presidential limousine has been given a significant update.

Aurus Motors has publicly revealed the new Aurus Senat Long limousine at the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, featuring more than just a facelift, but an extensive rework of the extended version’s chassis.

The previous version of the Aurus Senat Long had its extended section on the B-pillar to split the front and rear doors. This time around, Aurus used larger rear doors instead for a cleaner profile and a much wider opening for the Russian President to enter.

The rest of the exterior follows the same redesign that was first seen during Putin’s 2024 inauguration, with adaptive matrix headlights and revised rear LED lights putting the Aurus Senat Long up to date.

Inside, the extended limousine keeps the partition between the front and rear seats. Legroom has also been increased because of the rework on the chassis, with new control layouts, multimedia screens, and fewer physical buttons.

The Aurus Senat Long carries over the Porsche Engineering-developed 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 hybrid that produces 598 PS and 880 Nm of torque with all-wheel-drive.

The Senat Long is designated to the President of Russia, while standard versions of the model are being used by senior government officials and ambassadors.
