Porsche Panamera facelift spied testing anew, shedding off more disguise
Refreshed Porsche Panamera spotted with very minimal camouflage
Porsche appears to be putting the final touches on an upcoming refresh for the Panamera, with recent spy photos capturing a prototype running on public roads anew with almost no camouflage. While it has slightly less cladding than the sighting earlier this month, this time, the car comes with electric shock warning stickers and a visible rollcage inside.

Aside from a few minor pieces of black tape cleverly concealing subtle body lines, the test vehicle is virtually naked. The exposed bodywork provides a clear look at the visual updates coming to the fastback sedan, including re-profiled front and rear bumpers, reshaped lower air intakes, and subtle lighting signature revisions.

Under the skin, Porsche engineers are expected to focus heavily on optimizing the car's plug-in hybrid powertrains. With stricter Euro 7 emissions standards on the horizon, the automaker is likely prioritizing efficiency gains and expanded electric-only driving range across its E-Hybrid lineup. While pure internal combustion engine variants may remain available in select markets, the overall range is expected to tilt even further toward electrified options, given the "warning stickers."

Alongside powertrain adjustments, the Panamera's chassis hardware is set to undergo further refinement. The current Porsche Active Ride System (PARS)—which actively mitigates pitch and roll to keep the chassis flat through hard acceleration, braking, and cornering—ranks among the most sophisticated suspension setups in the luxury segment. Updated calibration for PARS and standard air suspension components will likely offer an even broader spread between long-distance touring comfort and sharp track agility.
Given the near-production readiness of this latest test vehicle, an official global reveal for the updated Porsche Panamera could take place in the coming months.
