After more than a decade, the Audi Q7 gets a new lease on life after the Ingolstadt-based automaker launched an all-new generation.

Say hello to the 2027 Audi Q7, and boy, did it get a glow-up. Despite no longer being the flagship crossover SUV (that title will now go to the upcoming Audi Q9), the automaker made sure the Q7 is still a premium vehicle.

Starting with the exterior, the Q7 retains the muscular design of its predecessors but features a more chiseled and futuristic appearance. Combined with a sportier and more confident front fascia, the latest Q7 looks lean, mean, and sophisticated. It also comes with an evolutionary redesign of the Singleframe grille, redesigned functional air intakes, sharper-looking LED daytime running lights, and the digital Matrix LED headlights.

The rest of the vehicle sees the all-new Q7 now sporting a more upright D-pillar, which now gives it a more horizontal roofline and additional headroom. The LED taillights, meanwhile, are bigger & bolder than ever and can be had with optional third-generation OLED technology. Combined with a raised back bumper and matching tailpipes, the all-new Audi Q7 stands tall and looks sophisticated as ever.

Need to enter or exit the vehicle with little to no effort? The Q7 is now available with optional automatic doors, which work via sensors that can also prevent the door from being opened accidentally to prevent a collision. It also has a soft-close function and can be controlled via the myAudi app.

But perhaps serving as the most striking exterior feature of the latest Q7 are its turn signals that can project themselves on the road. At night, when the low beams are activated and the driver uses their turn signals, the Q7 projects them onto the road for all to see. They also work when the hazard lights are turned on so motorists can see the Q7 better at night.

Hop inside, and the Q7 features clean lines, high-quality materials, and a trio of screens for the driver and front passenger to see and enjoy. Both the instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment (called the MMI Panoramic Display) feature a curved design and OLED technology. Meanwhile, the front passenger display has a privacy mode and is included as standard for the front passenger to use.

Depending on customer preference, the all-new Q7 can come with captain seats on the second row (six-seater) or with the standard bench seat (seven-seater). This means customers can experience business class-like comfort while on the road. It is then complemented by an illuminated panoramic sunroof with adjustable transparency, allowing more light or less light to permeate the cabin.

Other key highlights inside the all-new Q7 include a standard five-seater version, wireless charging pads on the center console, USB-C fast charging ports, a 22-speaker sound system from Bang & Olufsen with 4D surround sound, an integrated dashcam, wood-grain materials, and choice leather upholstery that can be finished in a wide array of colors.

Under the hood, the all-new Q7 will initially be available with a 3.0L mild-hybrid (MHEV) turbo-diesel V6 that will be offered in two states of tune. The first version makes a respectable 245 PS with 500 Nm of torque, while the more powerful version generates a meatier 299 PS and 600 Nm of torque.

As mentioned earlier, the turbo-diesel V6 benefits from an MHEV system, which consists of three key parts: a belt alternator starter, the powertrain generator, and a lithium-iron phosphate battery pack. The generator puts out an additional 24 PS and 370 Nm of torque, which enables short periods of electric propulsion while cruising, driving in city traffic, and parking. It also delivers extra oomph when overtaking, while also reducing carbon emissions and fuel consumption while on the go.

In other markets like the US, the all-new Q7 is available with a 2.9L twin-turbo gasoline V6 that makes 435 PS and 599 Nm of torque. It is then followed by the more powerful 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that's exclusive to the SQ7 and generates 599 PS with 800 Nm of torque. All engine options are paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Orders for the all-new Audi Q7 are now available in Europe this June, with first customer deliveries expected to commence in September 2026. That means other markets like the Philippines may have to wait until the end of 2026 or in Q1 2027 for PGA Cars to launch the third-generation Audi Q7.
