Looking to trade your ICE vehicle for an electric vehicle (EV) soon?

Vingroup, the parent company of VinFast, has extended its special support program for customers switching from fuel-powered cars to EVs. Called the “Trade Gas for Electric” program, the company extended it until April 30, 2026, across four key markets: Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

This means customers who will switch from gasoline vehicles to VinFast EVs in Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines will receive an additional 3% discount on cars. On top of that, these incentives are applied in combination with other ongoing promotional programs to sweeten the deal.

“The emergency support program encouraging the transition from gasoline to electric vehicles, launched in March, has delivered timely solutions and created strong momentum for hundreds of thousands of customers to choose VinFast electric vehicles as their companion for upcoming green journeys. Extending the program will not only provide more customers with the opportunity to go green, but also directly contribute to reducing fuel consumption, reaffirming Vingroup’s social responsibility and commitment to the community,” said Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales at VinFast.

Besides giving interested customers the chance to make the EV switch, VinFast Philippines is offering free, unlimited charging at all its V-Green charging stations to its customers until March 31, 2029. That means less financial burden on VinFast customers who currently own EVs, as well as worry-free charging while on the go.
