While Xiaomi has already established a strong presence in the Philippines through its smartphones and smart home products, the Chinese tech giant is now also slowly entering the EV market. In fact, there's already a store and dealership in Parqal, as well as another dealership in Baliuag, Bulacan.

Globally, however, its EV ambitions continue to gain momentum. Following the successful launches of the SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV, Xiaomi has now teased the SkyNomad N90, its first full-size SUV under the new Sky Nomad sub-brand and its largest vehicle yet.

The extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) combines SUV capability with an MPV-inspired cabin that focuses on flexibility and family use. The teaser reveals an upright, spacious design that departs from the sportier SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV, featuring blockier versions of the YU7's signature "waterdrop" headlights, a full-width rear light bar, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor for advanced driver assistance.

Instead of revealing the actual cabin, Xiaomi released interior schematics highlighting a configurable layout with sliding and rotating seats. The company says the N90 can transform into everything from a mobile office to a family lounge. Leaked spy photos also point to a walk-through front cabin with a floating center console and front seats capable of rotating up to 180 degrees.

Targeting the growing outdoor lifestyle trend, the N90 is also designed with adventure in mind. Previously spotted features include an integrated rooftop tent, a fold-flat interior, and high-output AC power outlets for camping equipment.

Measuring around 5.3 meters long with a 3.1-meter wheelbase, the N90 is poised to become Xiaomi's largest vehicle to date and will be offered in both five- and seven-seat configurations. Power is expected to come from a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and a battery pack of more than 70 kWh.

It is estimated to deliver 400 to 500 km of electric driving range and more than 1,500 km of total range. Xiaomi has yet to announce an official reveal date, but more details are expected in the coming weeks.
