VinFast and GSM have announced a new slate of senior leadership appointments as Vingroup and its affiliated companies accelerate the development of younger in-house leaders.

The changes come as both companies enter a new phase of global expansion, with the appointments succeeding longtime senior leaders Pham Nhat Vuong and Pham Thu Huong.

At VinFast, Pham Nhat Quan Anh will take over as CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding Pham Nhat Vuong. Having served as Chairman of VinFast Global since May 2026, Quan Anh will now also serve as Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam, giving him comprehensive responsibility for VinFast’s global and domestic operations.

Born in 1993, Quan Anh holds a bachelor’s degree from Singapore Management University and has held several leadership positions across VinFast and the Vingroup ecosystem. Alongside his new responsibilities, he will continue serving as CEO of VinMetal Trading and Production JSC.

At GSM, Nguyen Quoc Tuan will move from CEO to Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Pham Thu Huong. Tuan previously served as CEO of GSM Global and will now oversee the company as it continues expanding its green mobility operations internationally.

Meanwhile, Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will succeed Tuan as CEO of GSM Global while concurrently taking the helm of GSM Vietnam. Born in 2000, Hoang has held senior positions at VinFast, Green Future, VinSmart Future, GSM and other Vingroup companies, while also investing in several industrial, technology, energy and infrastructure ventures within the ecosystem.

The leadership changes come as VinFast expands its presence to 16 countries and operates manufacturing facilities across Vietnam, Indonesia and India, while GSM’s Green SM currently operates in seven countries and plans to enter at least three more markets this year.

The appointments are intended to strengthen both companies’ leadership teams as they pursue broader international growth and GSM works toward becoming a globally scaled public company.
