Last month, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) officially confirmed that there will be a Range Rover Sport Electric. It will slot below the much bigger Range Rover Electric and will complement the powertrain lineup, which already consists of a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), a mild-hybrid V8 (MHEV), and six-cylinder turbocharged gas & diesel engines.

But before the all-electric model officially debuts, JLR is busy testing the refreshed Range Rover Sport at the Nürburgring. Our spies managed to take pictures of what is likely the updated crossover SUV, and it's sporting some apparent changes.

Despite the camo livery hiding its true appearance, the grille and headlight graphics have been redesigned to give the Range Rover Sport a more striking look. Even the front & rear bumpers appear to have been given attention to complement the exterior makeover. The rear also gets some changes like revised LED taillights, a new rear apron, and reshaped exhausts.

Our spies were also able to get a glimpse of the Range Rover Sport's new interior. While it's hard to spot exactly what the changes will be, it looks like the SUV will get curved digital displays. Beyond that, the interior may also get a more luxurious fit & finish, as well as new materials to complement the Range Rover Sport's more opulent cabin.

Under the hood, the updated Range Rover Sport will most likely get the carried-over powertrain choices. These include a plug-in hybrid powertrain, a mild-hybrid V8, and the Ingenium six-cylinder turbo-diesel and turbo-gas engines. Also expected to join the powertrain lineup is the upcoming Range Rover Sport Electric, which will likely get a pair of electric motors and a high-capacity battery pack.

With the light camouflage on the Range Rover Sport, perhaps we can expect the facelifted crossover SUV to debut in Q4 2026 or sometime in 2027, alongside an all-new Range Rover Sport SVR.
