SPIED: Audi S6 E-Tron spotted in Avant, Sportback body styles
Audi busy testing hotter version of A6 E-Tron called the S6 E-Tron Performance
The EV market may be experiencing a slowdown, but that hasn't stopped brands like Audi from developing and testing their upcoming models. In fact, our spies managed to spot what could be Audi's next EV offering in the near future.

Seen recently by our spies being driven outside of the Nurburgring are two models of the upcoming Audi S6 E-Tron Avant & Sportback, and both could be Performance versions instead of a full-on RS variant. Both vehicles are still covered in heavy camouflage, although both models feature Audi's new design language with the thin LED daytime running lights, aerodynamic front bumpers, and massive alloy wheels.

It also has what appear to be flared side skirts, a ducktail spoiler, massive disc brakes, and sportier rear bumpers. Compared to the A6 E-Tron Audi revealed nearly two years ago, the S6 E-Tron Performance looks more aggressive and a bit more daring compared to the stately A6 E-Tron.

The Sportback version of the S6 E-Tron Performance cranks up the sporty looks all the way to eleven with its hatchback body style, resulting in a more dynamic appearance. It also has what appears to be a more aggressive set of LED taillights, which go well with the sleek tailgate and sweptback D-pillars.
Powertrain specifications have yet to be revealed by Audi. However, both body styles of the S6 E-Tron Performance will reportedly get a massive 100 kWh battery pack that feeds a pair of electric motors. It will supposedly generate 550 HP, which will allow the EV to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h. It will reportedly also feature a fast 270 kW fast-charging capability.

With Audi still busy testing the S6 E-Tron Performance, it might take a while before the hotter version of the A6 E-Tron makes its official debut.
