Lynk & Co has just announced that its business operations in the Philippines will be officially integrated with Geely Motor Philippines as a direct subsidiary. This realignment is part of the brand's significant move to deepen its synergy under the "One Geely" strategy and escalate its long-term investment in the Philippine market.

With it, Lynk & Co will enhance its market responsiveness, accelerate product introduction and market expansion, and continuously address the evolving demands of local consumers for premium mobility.

Lynk & Co first entered the Philippine market in March 2024 under the distributorship of the United Asia Automotive Group Inc. and gradually established its local brand influence with a distinct brand positioning and differentiated product offering. With the operational integration, Lynk & Co will further leverage GMP's local operational strengths and market foundation in the Philippines to accelerate the development of its sales and service network, establishing a more solid localized foundation for the brand's long-term growth.

Lynk & Co will accelerate its production footprint and brand refreshment. In Q4 2026, Lynk & Co will start its brand refreshment in the Philippines and progressively introduce a new generation of premium products. Among these is the Lynk & Co 900, a high-tech, full-size SUV targeted at the premium PHEV segment. It will officially debut in the Philippines, further enriching the brand's local premium lineup.

In fact, the Department of Energy (DOE) has already recognized the Lynk & Co 900 earlier this year. Based on what other markets get, the Lynk & Co 900 can cover up to 280 km on battery power alone and has a combined system range of up to 1,350 km on the CLTC cycle. It has a 2.0L turbocharged motor that's assisted by a pair of electric motors, which gives it a combined system output of 730 PS and 1,038 Nm of torque. Last but not least, it supports DC charging, which can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in only 17 minutes.

The Lynk & Co 900 is scheduled to launch in the Philippines in the fourth quarter of 2026, with detailed product specifications and launch arrangements to be disclosed in due course.
