LTO impounds infamous MPV of reckless street racer
Land Transportation Office launches operation that captures infamous MPV of reckless street racer

The Land Transportation Office is showing a serious crackdown on illegal street racing.
The infamous MPV linked to Smoke Machine PH – a page that posts viral videos showing reckless driving on public roads - has been seized and impounded by the LTO recently. The MPV was parked in a subdivision where the LTO was able to locate and capture the vehicle. The driver, on the other hand, is believed to be at large.
While the LTO did not name the driver publicly, we believe the driver is one of those involved individuals who had their licenses revoked after issuing show cause orders (SCOs) in recent weeks.
In fact, the MPV was even spotted earlier today on a flatbed, being escorted by an LTO patrol vehicle. Considering the vehicle was seized somewhere in North Luzon, it looks like the LTO could be impounding the vehicle in its main office.
“We will continue to run after those who use public roads for illegal racing. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated,” LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao.
