Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen, a limited-production V12 supercar billed as the most powerful front-engined production car in the brand’s 113-year history.

Expertly crafted by Q by Aston Martin, the brand’s in-house bespoke division inspired by James Bond’s famed gadget-making Q Branch, the Valen is the latest in Aston Martin’s line of limited-production V12 specials. It pushes the boundaries of design and performance, combining dramatic styling with extreme performance to deliver a truly distinctive driving experience.

At its heart is a 5.2L twin-turbo V12, producing a staggering 850 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–60 mph (96 km/h) sprint in just 3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 344 km/h. Power is sent through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission featuring shift strategies derived from Aston Martin’s Vantage GT4 race program.

Despite its front-engined layout, Valen puts a strong emphasis on agility and driver engagement. Extensive chassis and software tuning, including model-specific springs, Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers, steering calibration and carbon-ceramic brakes, gives the car a sharper dynamic character.

Weight reduction was also a major focus, with the Valen shedding up to 110 kg compared with Aston Martin’s core V12 platform. Carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium are used extensively, while an optional lightweight package cuts another 16.9 kg.

The performance-focused approach continues with lightweight magnesium wheels with Aston Martin-tuned Pirelli P Zero tires and a titanium exhaust system featuring four 3D-printed titanium tailpipes. Even the exhaust note has been specially tuned to deliver a more pronounced V12 soundtrack.

Visually, Valen takes Aston Martin’s front-engine formula in a more aggressive direction. Its full-carbon-fiber body features slim recessed headlights, a plunging hood, functional side vents, a sculpted rear tailgate and a full-width rear light bar that doubles as an aerodynamic element.

Inside, the cabin adopts a more driver-focused layout with a slim center console and 3D-printed elements. Valen's cabin offers a choice of newly developed Sports Plus seats, designed to combine support with long-distance comfort, or lightweight carbon fiber performance seats for a more focused driving experience. Together, these options allow customers to tailor the cockpit to their intended use and needs.

Exclusivity is central to the Valen, with production strictly limited to 150 examples worldwide, and first deliveries are scheduled to arrive during the second quarter of 2027. It joins Aston Martin’s growing family of exclusive V12 specials, following the likes of the Valour, Valiant, and DBR22.
