Despite August traditionally being a period when consumers tend to take a more measured approach to making major purchases, BMW Philippines was able to build strong sales momentum, recording a solid performance for the month.

BMW Philippines recorded 100 retail sales in August 2026, marking a 150% increase versus the same period last year. The strong August performance also contributed to BMW Philippines’ sustained growth for the year. From January to August 2026, BMW sold 676 vehicles, reflecting a 24% increase, which is up from 546 units in the same period in 2025.

BMW is also gaining ground in the premium automotive market, with its year-to-date market share rocketing to 39%, up from 24% last year.

Another factor behind this growth is the growing demand for BMW’s electrified models, with plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models across the 3 Series, 5 Series, and the 7 Series lineup giving customers more ways to experience BMW’s signature driving performance with greater efficiency. The expanding PHEV range continues to give Filipino customers more electrified options across different segments and lifestyles.

With the final months of the year ahead, BMW Philippines is looking to carry this momentum through the holiday season, with a new model introduction and special holiday offers giving customers even more to look forward to as the year comes to a close.
