Lexus Philippines is upping its EV game after the luxury marque quietly revealed the upgraded RZ EV. After getting recognition from the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Land Transportation Office (LTO) earlier this year, the 2026 Lexus RZ has officially been launched in the Philippines.

While the exterior and interior remain relatively the same, Lexus was busy giving the RZ’s electric hardware some major improvements. In fact, the RZ lineup now consists of the RZ 350e and the RZ 500e, replacing the RZ 300e and RZ 450e, respectively.

Both the RZ 350e and RZ 500e now come with a slightly bigger 74.69 kWh battery pack, which gives the latter a range of up to 460 km, based on the WLTC standard. The RZ 350e’s range was not mentioned, but based on what other markets get, it can cover up to 560 km on a full charge. Output-wise, the RZ 350e puts out 224 PS with 268 Nm of torque via a single electric motor, while the RZ 500e has a combined 380 PS and 537 Nm of torque, thanks to a pair of electric motors.

Besides getting more power and range, the RZ 350e and 500e now support up to 22 kW of AC charging, which is an improvement over the previous 11 kW. In addition, it supports up to 150 kW of DC charging, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

When it comes to amenities, Lexus gave the RZ line more premium features that enhance comfort and convenience. These include a digital rearview mirror, puddle lamps integrated onto the exterior door handles, new interior trim elements, a rear-seat reminder system, and a panoramic roof.

Other available features include full leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats with driver memory function, acoustic glass windows, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a Lexus Premium Surround Sound system, and a host of intelligent driver aids.

Also joining the lineup is the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport Performance. It’s the most dynamic and performance-oriented version of the RZ lineup and comes with plenty of F Sport goodies. However, it will not be available for retail sale in the Philippines.
