Geely announces pre-orders, sales promo for 2026 EX5 PHEV

If you’ve been eyeing the Geely EX5 EM-I as your next plug-in hybrid crossover, there’s some good news ahead of its official launch.

Geely Motor Philippines has opened reservations for the EX5 EM-I PHEV, with introductory prices of PHP 1.288M for the EX5 EM-I Pro, and PHP 1.468M for the top-of-the-line EX5 EM-I Max.

The EX5 has a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that makes 99 PS and 125 Nm of torque. The engine primarily serves as a generator that recharges the onboard 18.4 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, powering a front electric motor that produces 218 PS and 262 Nm of torque.

Geely claims the PHEV powertrain can do up to 2.4 L/100 km (WLTP Fuel Consumption-Weighted, Combined), equivalent to up to 41.6km/L, with a total range exceeding 1,000 km on a full tank and charge. As for recharging, the brand says the battery can juice up from 30% to 80% in as little as 20 minutes.

But it’s not just that, four limited-time offers are running on separate schedules and can be stacked for interested customers.

Reserve & Save runs from March 1 to 27, 2026, where a PHP 1,000 reservation comes with a PHP 10,000 discount. Born Super Hybrid runs from March 1 to May 31, 2026, offering PHP 50,000 off on EX5 EM-i variants.

Refer & Earn runs from March 3 to May 31, 2026, where both the referrer and the referred buyer receive PHP 4,000 in periodic maintenance service (PMS) vouchers per successful referral. The EX5 EM-i Nubia Raffle runs from March 5 to April 30, 2026, giving customers who purchase the vehicle a chance to win one of 20 ZTE Nubia Neo 5 smartphones.
