Following initial photos showing a stationary prototype sitting in a parking lot, new spy shots have emerged, catching the rumored Lexus RX Morizo RR pounding the pavement at the Green Hell. The high-performance crossover was spotted pushing hard around the Nürburgring, with test engineers peeling back a bit more camouflage to reveal key details.

The most eye-catching revelation on the updated test mule is a prominent air intake cutout cut directly into the hood. The raw opening strongly hints at major thermal management demands under the hood, suggesting the vehicle requires significant airflow to cool its underlying powertrain. Aggressive front air vents, wider fender flares, massive drilled Brembo brakes, and a dual-tip exhaust setup further reinforce that this is far more than a typical trim package.

Our spy photographers were also able to catch a quick glimpse inside the prototype's cabin. While the dashboard geometry appears to closely mirror the standard RX layout, the test vehicle features heavily bolstered, sports-style front seats designed to keep occupants planted during high-g cornering.

Under the hood, industry rumors suggest the RX Morizo RR could serve as a flagship showcase for Toyota’s next-generation 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. When paired with high-output electric motors across both axles, total system output could climb to a staggering 600 horsepower, positioning the crossover as a legitimate Japanese answer to high-performance European rivals.
