Lamborghini brings back Tricolore for one-off Temerario
Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore one-off pays tribute to the original Gallardo Tricolore
The last time Lamborghini released a “Tricolore” edition was way back in 2011 for the RWD Gallardo LP550-2. But after a 15-year absence, the House of the Raging Bull has brought back the limited-edition offering.
Say Buon Giorno to the Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore, a celebration of Italian excellence, craftsmanship, and design that builds upon the success of the Gallardo Tricolore. Revealed at this year's “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering” at the Monterey Car Week, the Temerario Tricolore features Italy's signature colors and is combined with the brand's heritage, expression of performance, innovation, and individuality.

The Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore was designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile and finalized in collaboration with Ad Personam, the brand's in-house customization arm. More importantly, the Temerario Tricolore showcases how personalization can extend beyond the selection of colors and materials to become an integral part of the creative process.
Whereas the Gallardo Tricolore celebrated Italy's 150th anniversary of the unification, the new Temerario Tricolore reinterprets the same spirit through a bold two-tone exterior composition that complements the signature tricolore. Blu Marinus Shiny defines the lower section of the body, while Bianco Monocerus extends across the upper surfaces, including the upper sections of the doors and fenders.

Meanwhile, Glossy Nero Noctis details on the exterior mirrors, wheels, engine cover, rear and upper sections deliver a striking contrast between the two main colours and reinforce the car’s sculptural proportions. On the other hand, Rosso brake calipers provide a further sporting accent, while a dedicated green, white and red graphic on the bonnet proudly references the Italian flag.
Open the doors, and the interior follows the same creative approach as the exterior. The result is a translation of the Tricolore theme into a sophisticated and highly personal environment. Nero Ade upholstery is complemented by Rosso Alala contrast stitching. Meanwhile, the recurring hexagonal motif establishes a visual connection with the exterior design and Lamborghini’s unmistakable stylistic identity.

Also worth mentioning is a bespoke silhouette of the car that's integrated into the rear cabin trim, while Tricolore lettering is embroidered on the door panels. Each material, graphic element and color was chosen as part of a single creative composition, showcasing how the Ad Personam program can transform the cabin into an authentic expression of the customer’s personality without compromising the sporting character of the Temerario.

Like the regular Temerarios, the Tricolore edition is powered by a plug-in hybrid 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that's assisted by three electric motors, which deliver a combined 920 PS. From a standstill, Lamborghini claims the Temerario can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach an impressive top speed of over 340 km/h, thanks to a quick-shifting 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Also impressive is the twin-turbo V8's ability to reach 10,000 rpm, making full use of the engine's capability at the limit.

“Temerario Tricolore is a celebration of the values that define Lamborghini: visionary design, technological innovation, uncompromising performance and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship. Fifteen years after the Gallardo Tricolore, this new interpretation by our Centro Stile brings Italian national colours into the new era of the super sports car. At the same time, it demonstrates how Ad Personam enables each customer to create a truly unique Lamborghini, transforming their personal vision into a bespoke expression of individuality,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
