Back in June 2026, Jetour revealed the specifications, official images, and other details of its newest flagship pickup truck, the F700. Essentially the light-duty twin of the G700, the Jetour F700 takes the plug-in hybrid system of its SUV sibling and applies it to a pickup truck to go anywhere.

While official output figures were not yet revealed, we won't be surprised if it makes the same 904 PS and 1,135 Nm of torque, just like the G700. Moreover, it may likely get the same 100 km of EV range, and a combined range of over 1,000 km with the engine and battery system working together.

Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) has already confirmed that the F700 will be arriving in the country. However, they did not reveal an exact or estimated timeline for the F700's arrival. But based on recent activities, it looks like Jetour is already making the necessary preparations behind the scenes.

Just recently, Jetour Auto PH secured regulatory approval to bring a light-duty vehicle that's powered by a 1997cc gasoline engine. Based on that, Jetour is set to bring a pickup truck with a 2.0L gas engine in the not-so-distant future. Since the automaker has confirmed that the F700 is on its way to the Philippines, the mystery vehicle they recently got approval for may just be the plug-in hybrid pickup truck.

Like the G700, it gets a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that serves as a generator to recharge the battery and assist the electric motors. It also has an 800V architecture that supports fast DC charging and a 34.13 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. As mentioned earlier, it covers up to 100 km in EV mode and has a combined system range of up to 1,300 km.

With Jetour Auto PH already making preparations to bring the F700 into the country, we can likely expect an official launch to happen in Q4 2026 or perhaps in early 2027.
