Automotive executives and industry partners temporarily stepped away from their boardrooms to hit the fairways for the inaugural 2026 Bogey Golf Invitational, held at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Cabuyao, Laguna.

Co-organized by Carlo Chungunco of Top Gear Philippines, Joel Conrad Pedro of Overland Kings, and Spencer Yu of A&A Consulting, the event was established to foster genuine fellowship across the local motoring sector. Taking advantage of Sta. Elena’s Wednesday tournament format, the tournament hosted 34 key industry figures and friends, filling nearly every available slot.

Despite fierce daily market competition, executives representing major car manufacturers joined top motoring journalists and industry partners for a day of friendly sport. Participating brands at the tournament included Isuzu, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota.

Following 18 holes of play, Paul Tanchi secured top honors as the Overall Champion of the inaugural event.

In the Gentlemen's Division, Jake Soriano took home the championship title, followed by Raffy David as 1st Runner-Up and Justin Buzzhype Santos as 2nd Runner-Up. For the Ladies Division, Carolyn T. Pedro claimed the championship title, while Julia Ira Jornada finished as 1st Runner-Up.

Special skill awards were also handed out during the round. Mikio Tsukui won Nearest to the Line on Hole No. 20, while Justin "Buzzhype" Santos claimed Nearest to the Pin on Hole No. 7.

The post-tournament awarding ceremony featured raffle prizes provided by event sponsors, including product gift packs from Lamoiyan Corporation, Titleist golf accessories from Empire Golf and Sports Shop, and fuel vouchers from Shell Pilipinas Corporation. Additional support for the tournament was provided by 24 Chicken, Bubu Food and Retail Concepts Inc., and Sarsa Manila. 

Following the enthusiastic turn-out, organizers expressed confidence that the Bogey Golf Invitational will return as a regular fixture on the Philippine automotive calendar.
