Ford PH elevates service excellence with annual Ford Skills Olympics
Ford Philippines reinforces its commitment to quality customer service and aftersales with the recent staging of the annual Ford Skills Olympics, a nationwide competition that serves as a platform to strengthen technical capabilities and raise the standards of customer service.
Held for the first time at the new Ford Learning Center, the competition reflects Ford’s continued investment in its dealer network and brings to life the Ford Family Guarantee. It demonstrates how dealer service team members play an important role in delivering the brand’s promise of quality service.

Across the different categories, the Ford Skills Olympics brings together the essential elements of service excellence: deep product and technical knowledge, accurate diagnostics, disciplined repair and maintenance procedures, strong service consultation, clear communication, and confident, customer-focused decision-making.
Christian Paul Barroga from Ford Ilocos Norte emerged as the champion in the Service Technician category, while Kenneth Dimatulac from Ford Sta. Rosa and Jerick Valencia from Ford Global City were the second and third placers, respectively.

In the Service Advisory category, Emilio Hermida from Ford Subic was declared winner. In second place was Jeffrey Cruz from Ford Manila Bay, and in third place was Sean Kelvin Guangco from Ford Cebu.
The competition will also bring Ford Philippines’ technical expertise to the global stage. As a result, the Technician Champion will represent the Philippines at the Ford International Markets Group (IMG) Skills Olympics in Bangkok this November, where they will compete against Skills Olympics champions from other Ford markets.

“The Ford Skills Olympics is an important Ford program as it helps us benchmark our capabilities, share best practices, identify opportunities for development, and inspire one another to raise the bar. The competition strengthens a culture in which excellence is not occasional—it is practiced every day, in every dealership, for every customer,” shared Pedro Simoes, Managing Director of Ford Philippines.
Ford Skills Olympics highlights Ford’s efforts to strengthen the capabilities of its dealer network. With the establishment of the Ford Learning Center, Ford continues to innovate and ensure Technicians, Service Advisors, Sales Consultants, and Dealer Customer Representatives are equipped with current and future skills and knowledge needed to uphold the brand’s standards of quality customer service.
