Zhejiang Geely Holding Group has announced aggregate sales of 1,934,842 vehicles across its portfolio of automotive brands during the first half of 2026.
The figure covers Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Farizon, LEVC, and Lotus, with electrified vehicles continuing to account for the majority of the group's deliveries as it expands its global footprint.
Electrified models—which include battery electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs)—reached a record 1,100,893 units during the six-month period. That represents a 10% year-on-year increase and means electrified vehicles accounted for 56.9% of the group's total sales, underscoring Geely Holding's continued shift toward electrified mobility.
Leading the group's performance was Geely Auto, the Hong Kong-listed company that oversees the Geely Auto, Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr brands. It delivered 1,422,958 vehicles in the first half of 2026, up around 2% year-on-year. Electrified models made up 799,454 units, or 56% of its total sales. Geely Galaxy remained the company's volume driver with 519,793 units sold, while Lynk & Co recorded 144,215 deliveries, with electrified vehicles accounting for 65% of the brand's sales. Meanwhile, Zeekr posted one of the strongest performances in the portfolio with 178,370 units sold, representing a 97% year-on-year increase.
Geely Auto also highlighted strong momentum in overseas markets. Sales outside China reached 474,228 units in the first half of the year, up 158% compared to the same period in 2025 and already surpassing its full-year overseas sales from last year. Electrified vehicle exports climbed 585% to 277,189 units, driven by models such as the Geely EX5 and EX2.
The EX2 made its debut in Uruguay and Brazil earlier this year and is slated for local production through the Renault Geely do Brasil joint venture. The company also expanded its premium offerings globally, with the Lynk & Co 900 launching in Qatar and Vietnam, while Zeekr maintained its leadership in the premium electrified segment in markets including Thailand, Malaysia, and Mexico.
Elsewhere within the Geely Holding portfolio, Volvo Cars sold 324,817 vehicles globally during the first half of 2026, half of which were electrified models. The Swedish automaker also recorded nine consecutive months of growth in EV sales. Polestar delivered 30,400 fully electric vehicles, marking a 3.8% year-on-year increase and a new first-half sales record for the brand, supported by strong demand in Germany, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
