SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., the official importer, distributor, and service provider of BMW vehicles and motorcycles in the Philippines, has expanded the model lineup of the BMW X3 30e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with the launch of a new variant.

Say hello to the BMW X3 30e xDrive xLine, which serves as the latest version of the PHEV after the M Sport variant that was launched last year. But unlike the M Sport, the X3 30e xDrive xLine is available at an introductory price of PHP 4,498,000.

With an all-electric driving range of up to 90 kilometers (WLTP), the new X3 30e xDrive xLine PHEV is designed to seamlessly integrate into daily life, allowing many journeys to be completed with minimal fuel consumption while retaining the versatility of a combustion engine for longer trips.

While it may not have the M Sport goodies, the X3 30e xDrive xLine still comes with a stylish exterior. Distinctive exterior highlights include the illuminated BMW Kidney Grille Iconic Glow, elegant satin-finished aluminum exterior accents, and striking 19-inch aerodynamic bicolour wheels. It also has adaptive LED headlights that provide excellent visibility while emphasizing the vehicle's contemporary character.

Open the doors, and the cabin reflects BMW's dedication to premium craftsmanship and passenger comfort. The spacious interior welcomes occupants with supportive sport seats for the driver and front passenger, and is complemented by electric seat adjustment with memory function and lumbar support for enhanced comfort on every journey.

Also available is a three-zone automatic climate control, which allows occupants to personalize cabin temperatures. It also comes with the Travel and Comfort Package, which further enhances everyday convenience. The X3 30e xDrive xLine is also equipped with BMW's latest BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch media display that runs on the latest Operating System 9. Other key features include a heads-up display with an augmented view, ConnectedDrive Services, BMW Digital Key, a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, and a suite of driver assistance systems that include Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Driving Assistant Plus, and Parking Assistant Plus with 360-degree camera.

At the heart of the X3 30e xDrive xLine is a 2.0L TwinPower Turbo inline-four that's assisted by an electric motor and a 19.7 kWh battery pack. It produces a combined 299 PS with 450 Nm of torque and delivers smooth, responsive acceleration, while also maintaining impressive efficiency. As mentioned earlier, the electrified crossover SUV can do up to 90 km on just EV power alone. However, it's also capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds.
