All-new X5, iX5 now available with M Performance Parts and accessories
Appearance and utility accessories will be available for 2027 BMW X5 and iX5 EV
The all-new fifth-generation BMW X5 has recently been unveiled this year. For the 2027 model year, the X5 brought BMW’s Neue Klasse design language with it. Aesthetically, the changes to the latest generation set it apart from the previous ones. The brand chose to move away from the more rugged-focused appearance to the now more futuristic design.
But for buyers who feel like they want to customize their vehicles to set it apart even more, BMW is offering a new array of accessories. These are split into two different ranges, with BMW M Performance parts catering toward appearance, and BMW accessories on the utility side.

In the range of the M Performance Parts, buyers can avail of vehicle-specific front splitters, front trims, roof spoilers, rear diffusers, and exterior mirror caps. The front trims add a carbon outfitting to the illuminated frame of the redesigned BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille. The three-part front splitter and rear flow blades (placed on either side of the rear diffuser) are both in carbon fiber.
The mirror caps and rear diffuser are made from Aramid fiber composites. This material looks just like carbon fiber in terms of appearance, structure, and strength, but can be penetrated by electromagnetic waves. This allows the sensors on the exterior mirrors and antenna to remain fully functional.
Apart from these components are summer and winter alloy wheels that range from 21 to 23 inches, as well as a new M Performance 23-inch aluminium light alloy wheel. This new wheel is dubbed in BMW’s catalogue as the “Y-spoke 1110 M Bicolor in Jet Black, gloss milled”.
For the V8-powered M Performance model, an M Performance Sound silencer system will be available. Also, carbon fiber tailpipe finishers are available as an aesthetic enhancement for the V8 engine and the X5 M60e xDrive.

As for the BMW accessories, the range includes a new aerodynamically optimized BMW Aero roof box with volumes of 350, 450, and 550 liters. Each variant of these roof boxes offers 30 liters more volume than each of its predecessor models, together with enhanced aerodynamics.
There is also a tablet holder and smartphone adapter for the Travel & Comfort System. The standard system is located on the backside of the front seats and uses a magnetic holder for smartphones. The Travel & Comfort tablet holder and the Travel & Comfort tablet holder Pro are available as optional extras. An additional joint makes the tablet holder Pro come with more adjustment options and a surface with silver accents.
The Travel & Comfort smartphone adapter clicks into both of the available tablet holders. This adapter can hold smartphones up to 7 inches in size, while keeping the connection accessible. The smartphone adapter is available separately.
The new parts and accessories will greatly add to what buyers can look forward to with the all-new 2027 BMW X5 and iX5. The only question now is: when can we expect the latest BMW X5 to arrive in the Philippines?
