After MIAS preview, GWM Haval H7 HEV & PHEV to debut next week
GWM Philippines is set to stir the electrified car market with the upcoming reveal of its latest electrified SUV.
Following its successful preview at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), GWM Philippines is proud to announce that the Haval H7 will officially be revealed on June 15, 2026. The H7 will blend intelligent hybrid technology, impressive performance, premium comfort, and genuine versatility.

Once revealed, the GWM Haval H7 will be offered in three distinct variants to give customers the flexibility to choose the model best suited to their lifestyle and driving preferences.
-Haval H7 HEV 2WD
-Haval H7 PHEV 2WD
-Haval H7 PHEV 4WD
Based on the available specifications the automaker has released earlier this year, the Haval H7 HEV 2WD will be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged inline-four that's assisted by an electric motor and a 1.53 kWh battery pack. This gives the self-charging H7 HEV a combined 244 PS with 540 Nm of torque and will be paired with a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT).
On the other hand, the Haval H7 PHEV 2WD will combine a 1.5L turbocharged engine and an electric motor that's powered by a 19.09 kWh battery pack. The result is a total system output of 322 PS with 540 Nm of torque and an EV range of up to 105 km. Like the HEV version, the Haval H7 PHEV 2WD will have a DHT driving the front wheels.
Last but not least is the Haval H7 PHEV 4WD. Instead of just a single electric motor, this variant will have an additional electric motor that will drive the rear wheels. The result is a combined 364 PS with 760 Nm of torque from the 1.5L turbocharged engine, the dual electric motors, and a 19.09 kWh battery pack. The additional motor, however, gives it a slightly lower EV range of 91 km, but it gets a 3-speed DHT to complement the 4WD system.

Other key features of the Haval H7 include: a full-size spare tire, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, and DC fast-charging technology. Meanwhile, the interior of the Haval H7 offers a modern, technology-focused driving experience highlighted by a customizable Head-Up Display (HUD) that allows drivers to personalize the information display.
“The GWM Haval H7 embodies the next evolution of intelligent SUV mobility. With its advanced hybrid technologies, impressive performance credentials, and versatile feature set, we are confident it will resonate strongly with Filipino consumers seeking a vehicle that can adapt to every aspect of their lifestyle,” said Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines.
More details, including the pricing, will be revealed during the official launch event. You may check out the official website of GWM Philippines for more information at https://www.gwm.com.ph/
