After making its MIAS preview earlier this year, GWM Philippines has officially revealed its latest electrified offering, and it's out to get a slice of the electrified crossover SUV market.

This is the 2026 GWM Haval H7, and it's available either as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) or as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). With a unibody construction and an SUV-inspired design, the Haval H7 combines the best features of a crossover and an SUV with the added benefit of electrification.

Starting with what's under the hood, all variants of the Haval H7 come with a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine that's assisted by an electric motor. The range begins with the H7 HEV 2WD, which makes a combined 247 PS with 540 Nm of torque thanks to an electric motor that's powered by a 1.53 kWh battery. Power is then sent to the front wheels via a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) and comes with EV & Hybrid Drive modes.

Up next is the H7 PHEV 2WD, which generates a total system output of 326 PS and 540 Nm of torque thanks to a 1.5L turbo, an electric motor, and a 19.09 kWh battery pack. On battery power alone, GWM claims the Haval H7 PHEV 2WD can cover up to 105 km on a full charge. Like the HEV, the H7 PHEV 2WD comes with a DHT that drives the front wheels.

Last but not least is the range-topping H7 PHEV 4WD. The 1.5L turbocharged engine is now assisted by a pair of electric motors and the aforementioned 19.09 kWh battery pack. This delivers a combined system output of 364 PS and a whopping 760 Nm of torque. Since it has an additional motor in the back, its EV range is only rated at 91 km. However, it gets the benefit of a 3-speed DHT and a Performance Mode to make the most out of the electrified powertrain.

Size-wise, the Haval H7 measures 4800mm long, 1950mm wide, and 1843mm tall on a 2738mm wheelbase. The electrified crossover also comes with full LED headlights & taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels on the 2WD models (19-inch wheels for the 4WD), a swing-out tailgate with a spare tire carrier, a panoramic sunroof, black body cladding, and dynamic LED daytime running lights.

Climb aboard, and the Haval H7 comes with a decked-out cabin. The dashboard comes with a pair of high-definition displays: one is a 12.3-inch instrument panel, while the other is a bigger 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The touchscreen is then complemented by an 8-speaker sound system.

Other available features inside the Haval H7 include full leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 50W wireless charging pad, a 540-degree panoramic camera system, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, USB charging ports for the front & rear passengers, a heads-up display, and 60:40 split rear seats.

It also has a suite of intelligent driver aids, which consist of adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure warning with lane-keep assist.

Pricing for the 2026 GWM Haval H7 is as follows:

Haval H7 HEV 2WD – PHP 1,298,888

Haval H7 PHEV 2WD – PHP 1,548,888

Haval H7 PHEV 4WD – PHP 1,698,888

As a bonus, GWM Philippines is offering a PHP 50,000 discount until June 30, 2026, to lucky customers.
