After announcing its launch earlier this week, GAC Philippines has officially launched the refreshed Emzoom B-SUV for the 2026 model year. This marks the latest evolution of the brand's popular subcompact crossover SUV and is billed by GAC to have a refreshed design, upgraded in-cabin technology, and enhanced comfort & convenience.

The 2026 GAC Emzoom is available in two distinct variants: the GB and the top-of-the-line R-Style. The former offers a sophisticated everyday look, while the latter emphasizes a sportier aesthetic. Both feature a refined exterior with a redesigned grille and sharper visual detailing.

The Emzoom GB variant comes with a new “Star Diamond” grille design that adds a sleek and understated, elegant character to this versatile subcompact crossover. It now also comes with auto-sensing windshield wipers and frameless-type rear wipers for improved visibility and convenience.

On the other hand, the Emzoom R-Style gets Black Edition package for the iconic Emzoom grille, letting the vehicle retain its rugged and sporty look. It's also equipped with 18-inch alloys for that extra sporty look.

Inside, the interior sees a major tech boost, anchored by a larger touchscreen infotainment display that measures 14.6 inches. It now has wireless Android Auto for easier pairing of mobile devices. Higher-grade variants, meanwhile, come with premium amenities, such as ventilated seats, a 50W wireless charging pad, and advanced parking assistance.

Other available features inside the vehicle include automatic headlights, a seatbelt reminder warning, and a choice of two color finishes for the cabin: Blue & Black and Brown & Black.

As mentioned earlier, the Emzoom is now available with advanced driver assistance systems, particularly for the R-Style. Equipped as standard on this particular version are Integrated Parking Assistance and Blind-Spot Video Driving Assistance for better peace of mind while on the road.

Under the hood, the 2026 Emzoom continues to be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged inline-four. It makes 174 PS with 270 Nm of torque and is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that drives the front wheels.
