Lamborghini charges to Thailand with the 2023 Urus Performante
Four months after the global launch of Lamborghini’s lightest and fastest SUV, the Raging Bull ships it to Thailand for its ASEAN debut at the 39th Thailand International Motor Expo.

Heads turned, and jaws dropped at the unveiling of the 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante. This more aggressive SUV trim level has more power and downforce and is lighter by 47 kilograms compared to regular Urus models.
The body gets a new front bumper panel, carbon fiber splitter, air vents on the hood, a redesigned rear spoiler (adds 38% back pressure), and carbon fiber wheel arches. It has a more hunched-down stance thanks to new springs that lower its ground clearance by 20mm and a 16mm wider wheelbase. Lightweight wheels are used with titanium bolts and Pirelli tires specifically designed for the Performante.

The metal coil springs and shock absorbers are controlled by Lamborghini’s Electromechanical Active Roll Stabilization & Electronic Damper Control. It gets carbon ceramic front and rear brakes. To make it more maneuverable, it uses a four-wheel turning system made possible by the Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering (LRS).
Inside, it gets new seat cushions that mimic the hexagonal pattern of the Performante and new graphics in the instrument panel and infotainment monitor.

Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 gasoline engine that makes 640 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. That is good enough to send 2.1-ton SUV from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds all the way to a top speed of 306 km/h. All that power goes to the four-wheel drive via an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has an integrated front differential, central differential (Torsen), and Active Torque Vectoring rear differential. To make the drive more exciting, the driving modes have been tweaked and a new Rally mode was added.

It is now in Thailand but the big question is, will we see it when Lamborghini Club PH holds the ‘Bull Run’ next year?
