The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) opens its doors soon for the 2026 edition, 21 years after the first MIAS opened its doors in 2005. The event will once again bring together the latest automobile models, the greatest classic cars, the most innovative accessories, the best value deals, and the most efficient breakthroughs in automotive electrification in one venue.

What can showgoers expect from this year’s edition? Let’s give you a primer on what to expect.

One event, Two venues

MIAS holds the distinction of being the largest single automotiv

e event in the Philippines, and the 2026 edition seeks to build on that even further. For this year, the Manila International Auto Show will be held at the World Trade Center Man

ila in Pasay City, occupying the expansive main hall, lobby, and outdoor grounds of the venue. MIAS, however, will be expanding to utilize the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) nearby.

This isn’t the first time that MIAS has also taken up the second venue, and the 2026 edition serves as a homecoming for the event to PTTC. Together, WTC and PTTC will combine for a total of about 22,500 square meters of combined outdoor and indoor space for the event.

Nearly 2 million visitors since 2005

MIAS is by far the most attended automotive event in the country,

even though it started with just 45,000 visitors in its first edition in 2005. But over the years, the cumulative number of visitors has already reached 1.86 million, with the 2025 edition reaching 170,900 attendees over just 4 days.

Will the 2026 edition breach the 2 million mark? We will find out in

April.

24 brands confirmed

MIAS has always served as a major launch platform for the latest automobiles in the Philippines. This year, 24 brands will be making their presence felt at the event, and many will have special premieres of new models during the event.

The many automotive manufacturers, distributors, and dealers also want you to drive their latest offerings, so they have special test drive sessions for their vehicles, as well as exclusive discounts and offers for customers. Don’t forget to check out what they have in store, and what MIAS co-presenter BPI Auto Loans has on offer.

The latest EV innovations

Motorists are now looking at the latest and most affordable options in electric and electrified mobility, and you can expect to see a lot of what you seek at MIAS.

You can browse a lot of these vehicles that can grant freedom from fuel price hikes at the event. You can inquire about the range, charging times, specs, and everything else in between at the main hall of the World Trade Center. You can even take these vehicles for a test drive to see if EVs fit your lifestyle.

Something automotive for everyone

Apart from the many new vehicles being launched for the public and test drives, there will be many more automotive flavors to choose from at the Manila International Auto Show.

Do you like classic cars? Check out the MIAS-Petron Custom and Classic Car Competition at the PTTC! Do you enjoy big trucks and 4x4 vehicles? Check out the overlanding pavilion for the latest setups and automotive camping gear. You enjoy RC cars and die-cast? There will be radio-controlled car demos and a swap meet with the Die Cast Collectors of the Philippines.

There are more, but it just shows that whatever your taste, MIAS has it for you.
