Under the hood, the all-new RAV4 is powered by an electrified 2.5L A25A-FXS inline-four that benefits from VVT-iE and VVT-i. The hybrid powertrain makes a combined 239 PS with 221 Nm of torque thanks to a pair of electric motors. The front motor puts out 136 PS with 208 Nm while the rear motor produces 54 PS and 121 Nm. Power is then sent to all four wheels via an e-CVT with e-Four AWD.
