Toyota Alphard

Toyota's luxury minivan is here and it gets an overhaul not just in design & luxury, but also in its powertrain.

Toyota has quietly revealed the all-new Alphard to the Philippine market, and it gets some neat changes both inside and out. Not only did Toyota heavily revised its exterior and interior looks, but it now has a more compact engine under the hood. Gone is the naturally-aspirated V6 as it has been replaced with a new 2.5-liter hybrid engine that's assisted by an electric motor. The 8-speed automatic is also gone as it now gets a CVT.
