Subaru gives its most affordable crossover another refresh, along with more standard features
The current-generation XV may be ripe for a complete redesign, but Subaru decided it can still do with another refresh. For the 2021 model year, the Subaru XV gets a restyled front grille, revamped front bumper, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it packs an 8-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. More importantly, it gets a Dual Function X-Mode feature which allows it to take on rougher terrain. Like the pre-facelift version, it still comes with a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated Boxer engine that makes 156 PS with 196 Nm of torque. A Lineatronic CVT with Symmetrical AWD sends power to all the wheels.
