The next-generation Forester for the Philippine market comes powered by the brand's new e-Boxer Hybrid powertrain, which was co-developed with Toyota.
The Subaru Forester e-Boxer Hybrid for the Philippine market to have a 2.5L Atkinson/Miller cycle boxer engine that's assisted by two electric motors (one generator and a traction motor). The result is a combined system output of 194 PS and 209 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to a Lineartronic CVT and the brand's Symmetrical AWD system.
