Porsche 911 Targa

The Porsche 911 Targa was supposed to be the automaker's solution to a possible ban on convertibles in the US back in the late 60's. Named after the iconic Targa Florio race, the 911 Targa is one of Porsche's signature bodystyles and continues to wow passers-by with its unique roof set up.  For the 991 series, its roof mechanism can be best described as art and engineering in motion. Like its fixed-roof sibling, the 911 Targa is powered by a new 3.0 liter turbocharged mill that packs more power than the outgoing 3.6 flat six.
