2023 Toyota Wigo 1.0 G CVT

Toyota has just revealed the all-new Wigo, and it gets a helping hand from its subsidiary Daihatsu. Like the Avanza, Raize, and Veloz, it's now underpinned by the new Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) which they claim will deliver better ride quality. It also gets a sleeker appearance courtesy of sharped headlights and a more upright tailgate. The cabin still makes use of heavy plastic but now comes with the TV box-style touchscreen complete with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Power still comes from the carried-over 1.0-liter three-cylinder KR-VE. Fortunately, the 4-speed automatic has been replaced with the new D-CVT.
