Toyota gives the Innova MPV an update for 2021; five years after its introduction in 2016. The changes are mostly cosmetic. It features a new front fascia featuring a larger new grille flanked by new headlamps. It also gets a new bumper.
Toyota Motor Philippines has opted to drop the 2.0-liter gas engine for this update and offer the Innova exclusively with a 2.8-liter diesel mill rated at 174 PS with 360 Nm of torque for automatic transmission versions, and 170 PS with 343 Nm of torque for manual transmission versions.
There are now less variants to choose from, TMP has decided to trim the lineup down to six variants.
