The landscape of regional commercial and lifestyle transport is on the verge of an electrified shift. Radar EV Pickup Philippines, operating under the umbrella of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), has officially launched its entry into the Visayas market by forging a strategic partnership with Pacific Autoworld Inc., a prominent subsidiary of the seasoned Borromeo Group of Companies.

The collaboration represents a decisive step forward in the brand’s aggressive nationwide expansion strategy, moving its unique lineup of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) pickups beyond Luzon and directly into the heart of the country's most vibrant regional economies.

The expansion was formalized during an official contract signing between Radar EV Pickup Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt and Pacific Autoworld Inc. Managing Director Marco Borromeo. This newly established connection fits perfectly into UAAGI’s wider corporate mission to build a reliable infrastructure for electrified mobility across key provincial strongholds, ensuring that buyers outside Metro Manila have immediate access to both high-tech alternative-energy vehicles and specialized, high-voltage aftersales service centers.

Leveraging more than 25 years of deep automotive retailing and distribution expertise across the region, the Borromeo Group serves as a highly capable anchor to introduce the Radar brand to Cebuano motorists. The partnership promises to inject something fundamentally different into the local truck scene: a vehicle lineup that strips away the harsh, utilitarian ride characteristics typically associated with traditional commercial trucks.

Instead, Radar’s product architecture blends the rugged bed capacity and everyday utility of a traditional midsize truck with the interior refinement, unibody ride compliance, and sophisticated driver-assist safety packages found in modern family SUVs—all powered by clean, efficient electric and plug-in hybrid systems.

The upcoming Cebu facility marks a significant operational milestone for both companies, serving as a testament to their growing commercial synergy. Once opened, the showroom will become the fourth brand distributed by UAAGI to find a home under Pacific Autoworld’s wing in Cebu, joining an established multi-brand stable that already features BAIC, Chery, and Jetour.

With this reinforced retail network, Visayan business owners and outdoor enthusiasts are well-positioned to easily transition toward more economical, eco-friendly fleet options without compromising on cargo capability or long-distance reliability.
