Toyota Motor Philippines and the ASEAN National Organizing Council signed a supplemental agreement expanding their official mobility partnership. From providing a fleet of vehicles at the 48th ASEAN Summit in Cebu, Toyota Motor PH will now provide a fleet of vehicles for the 49th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits this November.

Through Lexus, the partnership will see the use of an electrified fleet, including the LS 500h sedan and the LM 350h minivan, for visiting heads of state and dignitaries gathering in Manila.

The signing was led by Toyota Motor Philippines president Masando Hashimoto and ASEAN NOC Director-General for Operations Ma. Hellen B. Dela Vega. Also present were Undersecretary Leonardo Roy Cervantes of the Office of the Executive Secretary, who chairs the ASEAN NOC, and Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Ruth Abigail Sestoso.

The Lexus LS 500h serves as the brand's full-size flagship luxury sedan and makes use of an electrified 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that produces a combined 359 PS. It also comes with plenty of amenities, such as semi-aniline seats, power-adjustable seats with memory function, four-zone climate control, and a 23-speaker sound system.

Meanwhile, the LM 350h is the brand's premier MPV that combines a lounge-like interior and a relaxing cabin. It's powered by an electrified 2.5L four-cylinder engine that delivers a combined 250 PS and is mated to an e-CVT. It also has plenty of creature comforts like rear power seats with ottomans, heated & ventilated seats, 64-color ambient lighting, and power sunshades.

Toyota Motor Philippines first served as an official mobility partner for the Summit in Cebu, and now extends that support through its final stretch in Manila.
