Suzuki Carry adds new PUV and Patrol Van variants for institutional use
Suzuki Philippines is expanding the Carry lineup with two new variants aimed at organizations, local government units (LGUs), transport groups and other institutional users.
The new Suzuki Carry PUV Class 1 and Suzuki Carry Patrol Van retain the compact truck's practical platform but come with equipment and configurations designed for specific passenger transport and public-service applications.

Carry PUV Class 1
Priced at PHP 849,000, the Carry PUV Class 1 is intended for organizations looking for a purpose-built passenger vehicle. It comes with side entry, removable doors and a canvas cover, along with wide windows with roll-up canvas, side-facing seats and generous headroom.
Suzuki also equipped the PUV Class 1 with a fire extinguisher. More importantly for public transport applications, the variant is DOTr-certified under COC No. 202509-00C1GE and complies with PNS 2131:2018, the Philippine National Standard covering the dimensional requirements for Public Utility Vehicles Class 1.
Suzuki says the configuration makes the Carry PUV Class 1 suitable for transport cooperatives, resorts, LGUs and other organizations that need a vehicle specifically configured for passenger transport.

Suzuki Carry Patrol Van
Meanwhile, the Suzuki Carry Patrol Van carries a lower SRP of PHP 822,000 and is aimed at LGUs, barangays and organizations that need a dedicated vehicle for patrol and public-service duties.
The Patrol Van comes with a reversible seat, checkered-plate flooring, roll-up canvas covers with locks, and an embedded side step. It also gets a siren with PA system and blinker, while seating capacity is rated at 10 passengers, including the driver.
These features make the Patrol Van suited for various public-service duties, from patrol operations and community assistance to other activities where a simple and versatile utility vehicle is required.
With the two new variants, Suzuki Philippines is giving institutional buyers more options beyond the standard Carry configurations. Both models are now available through the Suzuki Philippines authorized dealer network nationwide.
For organizations looking for a purpose-built vehicle without moving too far away from the Carry's compact and practical formula, these two new variants could be worth a closer look.
