SsangYong no more: KG Mobility gives Tivoli a new face
New look Tivoli shows no sign of SsangYong logo
Korean steel and chemicals company KG Group, which acquired SsangYong Motor earlier this year, has begun its work to rebrand the vehicles under the new company name, KG Mobility. The first ex-SsangYong model to get the rebrand is the Tivoli.

The 2023 update gives the new Tivoli a new but smaller grille with asymmetrical "Tivoli" lettering. The reshaped bumper gets a bigger central air intake enclosed by a shiny chrome trim. We can't help but notice the new facelift further makes the Tivoli look like the Toyota Raize.
Much of the body is carried over except for the new 18-inch wheels, a fresh set of side skirts, and a new rear skid plate. As part of the rebrand, notice that there are no more SsangYong emblems on the vehicle. The only identifier is its new KG Mobility badge on the tailgate.

Most of its cabin amenities remain the same. It still has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment screen, but designers gave it a new set of touch-sensitive climate controls and new leather-wrapped seats with varying trim options (orange, two-tone gray, or black).
Safety features include seven airbags and 14 Advanced Driver-Assist Systems.
Engine options are a 1.6-liter engine with 126 PS and 155 Nm of torque and a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine making 163 PS and 260 Nm of torque. Drive goes to either two or four wheels via the six-speed automatic gearbox.

The Tivoli was one of SsangYong's last new models in the Philippine market. With rumors of SsangYong PH moving to a new distributor, there could be a chance for us to see the facelifted version arrive in the country in the future.
